MASTER HYPNOTIST
I have been married to my husband Peter for 31 years and have 3 children; Jason 28, Tara 25 and Warren 21. No, I am not going to tell you my age, and there are no prizes for guessing ( unless you estimate I am 40! )
My background was teaching, having taught Home Economics in Birmingham and Worcestershire, where we lived for 13 years and here in Livingston West Lothian where we have lived for the past 20 years. I had been very interested in hypnosis for some considerable time but in 1988 I qualified as a Master Hypnotist from the Proudfoot School of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and I am a Member of the UK Guild of Hypnotist Examiners. I went on to study and qualify as a Certified Hypnotherapist and Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner.
I have a Hypnotherapy Consultative Practice helping people with a large range of problems such as nervous disorders, anxiety, panic attacks, stress management, relaxation, smoking and eating disorders, fear, phobias and many wide ranging areas of the stressful modern life that effects our, or our children's, wellbeing.
I run my practice from the privacy of my home with one to one appointments during the day. I run courses on Stress Management, Relaxation and Self Hypnosis for groups at private venues and for the adult education authorities, and Self Hypnosis for Childbirth for individuals and groups, in addition to which I train professional medical groups such as Midwives.
In the time I have to myself I like to care for our growing collection of Bonsai trees, practise Tai Chi, Egyptian Belly dancing – in fact I love most forms of dancing, and am very interested in complementary therapies, we ski in the winter and generally try to keep fit.
